Opportunities should be submitted at least 10 days before you want it to appear on our website. Payment, when required, must be received before the opportunity can be posted. Posts may be on our website for 1 year and may be renewed. Contact our treasurer if you want to renew your paid opportunity posting for an additional year.

For-Profit Organizations

For-profit educational organizations may submit opportunities which is a two-step process: 1) complete the Paid Ad Submission form below and 2) mail a $20 check payable to REAM to:

  • Must be a PDF document. File name should start with date it expires and end with Vol (volunteer) or Pd (paid). Use an underscore in place of a space in the file name.

    Description field in the form below should include: Volunteer (or Paid) Position for [Name of Organization] followed by the expiration date using this format: YY-MM-DD. If the opportunity does not have an expiration date, use DND (do not delete) in place of the date.

Minnesota Literacy Council Summer Reads Program is seeking teachers. Please apply by April 30.

The National Park Service, along with its funding partner – Mississippi Park Connection, is looking for retired educators to work with schools to bring them outdoor learning experiences in the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area within the Twin Cities. Watercourse Counseling Center is seeking volunteers to join our board of directors. As a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing mental health services into the community, Watercourse therapists support Minneapolis students through our school-based mental health program.

PACER Puppet Program https://www.pacer.org/puppets/ seeks volunteer puppeteers to present puppet shows on Bullying Prevention and Disability Awareness to elementary aged children in the Twin Cities Metro area.

In April 2019, Minnesota will host the United States Academic Decathlon national competition. More than 70 teams from across the United States, China and the United Kingdom will attend the national competition in Bloomington, MN April 25-27. In Academic Decathlon, students participate in 10 events: economics, mathematics, science, social science, literature, art, music, essay, speech and interview. There is also a compilation event called Super Quiz that combines all areas into a quiz show style format. USAD is seeking volunteers to serve as judges for speech or interview as well as proctors for written exams and the Super Quiz. Without volunteer judges and proctors, this event would not be possible. Please consider joining us at this exciting competition! The Wilder Community Center for Aging is looking for Arts and Music Education volunteers for the Adult Day Health Program. Recognized for creative arts and engaging health and wellness activities, our program offers specialized service for older adults and adults with memory loss or chronic conditions.
